At beginning of October 2014 I had the honor to participate as speaker in the Festival of Spanish language, culture and leisure time (´FLECOS´) in Granada.
The festival took place in the Convention Center of Granada. It was a combination of didactic workshops, the presentation of new medias, software und websites in teaching ambient and at least about andalucian culture. In the great Hall there were a variety of stands with different topics and head themes (tourisme, Flamenco, wine, hiking, andalucian culture and nature and at least ´The Alhambra´).
This project is my small contribution to solve the financial crisis, which has turned into a global and social crisis in Europe. I hope that there will be more government programs like ERASMUS for students. Every program like this will give us more options to come closer to each other.
The first conference took place on the 6th of June, 2013, in the Main Lecture Hall at the Medical School, in Granada. It is a very impressive and dignified place. With the moral support of the Spanish Kings (behind me in a painting), the conference was a success, which gives me great satisfaction. We have the idea to do this again in the future and to give people the opportunity to work in Germany, and also in my hospital.
An immediate result of this conference was two Spanish medical doctors from Andalusia coming to Germany the week after. They started their language course in Berlin and they have now a contract with my hospital in internal medicine.
